Curriculum Vitae
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Philipp Geyer leads research and teaching activities on digital modeling, simulation and intelligent computing methods for sustainability and energy efficiency in architectural design and engineering planning. He develops methods based on machine learning and artificial intelligence for performance simulation and forecasting of buildings, urban districts and energy networks. In particular, his method of component-based machine learning integrates methods of artificial intelligence with digital modeling of the building industry. He is vice chairman of the European Group of Intelligent Computing in Engineering (eg-ice.org [5]). He is an guest editor and reviewer for leading international journals such as Advanced Engineering Informatics, Applied Energy, Proceedings of the IEEE and Automation in Construction and has published his research through approximately 75 articles and papers.
