Virtual Lab
The corona pandemic has suddenly changed architecture studies. The necessary exchange of knowledge about programs, render materials, CAD furniture, etc. with your studio colleagues can no longer take place in the corridors of the architectural building.
Digital collaboration will also increase in the professional practice of architects.
That is why DAN department has launched the ' Virtual Lab ' to enable , perhaps even strengthen, your knowledge exchange and your collaboration on and through digital technologies . The 'Virtual Lab' is a digital platform where you can find out about programs, digital exchange methods, discuss software problems and share design data via server or cloud .
You can also get support from the staff in the department in using software and digital methods in architectural design.
We help you in particular with questions such as:
What digital tools are there, what can they do and how do I use them?
How do I work together digitally and exchange data?
How do I organize the collaboration?
There are even licenses for software such as BIM 360, VisualARQ and Rhino in addition to the freely available software.
The offer is intended for immediate use in the current draft of this semester and will be continued next semester.
Further information about the Virtual Lab can be found on ISIS at https://isis.tu-berlin.de/course/view.php?id=22802.
